Raviyah Training and Consulting is located in Jefferson County in Washington State’s Olympic Peninsula.

Jay Bakst has over 30 years’ experience applying Theory of Constraints, Project Management, Systems Modeling and Creative use of technology to real world problems. He has worked with large companies such as Boeing and Weyerhaeuser as well as smaller companies such as Seattle Cold Storage, SeaBright Insurance and Kocer Engineering.  For 30 years, Mr. Bakst has run his own consulting firm, Raviyah Training and Consulting, providing TOC training and operations support to companies in the Puget Sound area. A former board member of the Kent Chamber of Commerce and a member of the small business advisory board and micro-company roundtable with the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce, his civic involvement also include membership in the Institute of Industrial Engineers, the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Theory of Constraints International Certification Organization (TOCICO). He currently facilitates the PMI affiliated PMO Roundtable in Seattle.  An international speaker, he has presented to PMI, APICS, the National Wood Processing Conference and the Winter Simulation Conference as well as Rotary, Kiwanis and other Civic organizations. An expert in manufacturing processes and process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma and Theory of Constraints, Mr. Bakst is a PMP, is certified in Critical Chain Project Management and has 15 years as an adjunct instructor of Theory of Constraints, Critical Chain, Project Management and Operations Management at Everett Community College, Bellevue College and Pacific Lutheran University.
